1. Breathable Waterproof Membrane
The three-layer composite membrane blocks liquid water while allowing water vapor to escape. Unlike bonded waterproof shells that constrict your hands, this breathable material is designed for intermittent, high-intensity bursts of riding, allowing sweat vapor to escape on climbs and rain to escape on descents.
Importance: Protects against dampness and cold, maintaining a stable microclimate in the hand's core at varying intensities.
2. Directional Water Channel Palm
The palm overlay features microchannels and a textured rubber pattern to effectively channel moisture away from primary contact surfaces and toward the perimeter drainage channels. The traction pattern is carefully tuned to provide a slight improvement in grip, rather than a complete loss of grip, even in lightly damp conditions.
Importance: Keeping your brakes and levers in the rain-the glove becomes more secure, not slippery.
3. Thin Insulated Removable Liner
The lightweight, removable liner (available in thin fleece or PCM-treated fabric) can be tucked into the glove during cool mornings and removed for warmer rides. The liner folds away for quick drying.
Why it's important: One glove allows you to adapt to different seasons, carry less gear, and pack lighter.
4. Reinforced, Replaceable Palm Sliders
A replaceable PU slider system is used in high-wear areas. When the palm becomes worn, simply replace the sliders without replacing the entire glove.
